Kate is the owner of Salon Blunt Bowmanville & Cobourg. She has worked hard to become a Goldwell Artist, traveling to other salons and the Goldwell Academy in downtown Toronto to teach and share her love for hair to other stylists.
She is a bright, passionate hairstylist and colourist who loves transferring her skills to each guest.
An artist by nature, Kate specializes in creative cutting, rich tonal, layered colours, and working with the natural texture of the hair to create a customized style. Providing a personalized consultation, and building a relationship with her clients, she is able to create a unique look tailored to each individual.
Kate celebrated 20 years in the industry in 2023.

LAUREN

Lauren is the co-owner of Salon Blunt Bowmanville. She graduated from Valentino’s Academy in 2015 and has continually focused on advancing and enhancing her skills and techniques, including becoming an Artist/Educator for Goldwell Canada.
Her "why" is solving each individual’s hair needs, by taking the time to discuss, recommend solutions, and teaching new styling techniques to her clients.
She is known for creating "elevated simplicity", and wearable hair. With strong technical expertise and a passion for teaching, she helps clients understand their hair and feel confident in it.
She has styled backstage at Fashion Weeks in New York, Milan, and Paris, specializes in Air-Touch highlighting, and intuitive, movement-focused cuts. When she’s not behind the chair, she’s an animal lover and will love to chat all things animals!

Samii is the co-owner of Salon Blunt Cobourg, and would love to take care of you! She is a dual stylist who is passionate about curly hair, highlights/balayage and creating a customized experience for each and every guest.
She is highly reviewed and will make sure you feel comfortable, listened to, and strives to make you love your hair! She is continuously updating her education and skills all year long, and loves helping other stylists grow their skills. We invite you to book with her now as she is still accepting new clients!

BROOKE
Colourist - Bowmanville
GOLDWELL Certified Master Colorist
Brooke quickly fell in love with colour after her time at the Aveda Institute in Toronto. She then chose the Valentino’s Academy in 2014 to master her craft in colour. Her goal with each client is to ensure the best quality experience for their individual needs.
From classic to creative, no matter what length, Brooke works with placement and texture with colour. She will discuss goals for your hair and make sure your needs are met. Brooke was a Top 10 Finalist in the 2014 North American Intercoiffure Nouveau Cut & Colour Competition. Brooke also won GOLD for Canada at the 2016 Goldwell Colour Zoom Competition!! Some of Brooke’s specialties include: Fashion Colours and Highlights.
SAM

Sam has been doing colour since 2012. She specializes in blondes, natural tones, and conservative colour. Maintaining condition and achieving the hair goals of her clients is important to her.
She likes long walks on the beach (just kidding, you’ll catch her in the woods), mother of Tito (Pictured with Sam, and who you have definitely met before if you've been to Salon Blunt) and a sucker for all candles because she likes when life is LIT. Unlicensed therapist but willing to expand conversation about reality tv, or enjoy your quiet time! Versatility at it’s best!
TONI

Toni is a bright, passionate, and talented dual stylist. Along with her passion for blondes, she enjoys all different kinds of cuts; from long hair, to pixies, to men's cuts! Toni's services are high quality from start to finish. She loves to listen to each client's needs, and has a great eye for detail. Education and growing her skills are very important to her. She accepting new clients, and would love to have you in her chair!

Kellie is a passionate hairstylist for 16 years, she is a very creative individual in and out of the salon. She considers herself to specialize in blonding services, but corrective colours & fashion shades are also services she is enthusiastic about.
She recently started working with a bridal agency and travels to different venues all over Ontario creating hair for wedding parties.
She is accepting new clients and is looking forward to meeting you soon!

Ivete's passion lies in creating stunning highlights and crafting long layered haircuts that bring out your unique style. As a Goldwell certified Master Colorist Technician, she brings expertise and creativity to every colour transformation. She also specializes in men's fades.
In the salon, Ivete is always growing and perfecting her craft. She is incredibly detail-oriented, thorough, and in her chair, you will feel VERY cared-for, and seen and heard. Her calm, sweet demeanor plus her incredibly creative, witty, methodical mind are just some of the things we love about her.
Beyond the salon, Ivete has a diverse set of interests. When she's not perfecting your hair, you might find her immersed in the world of gaming, expressing her creativity through painting, or hunting for treasures in antique shops.

Alana began her journey in hairstyling when she graduated from Durham Hairstyling Academy in 2023. Her passion for hairstyling runs deep, and she's eager to bring her skills to life in the salon.
Alana enjoys creating beautiful highlights that enhance the natural beauty of your hair. Whether you want sun-kissed strands or a bold transformation, she's here to make your vision a reality. Specializing in bridal updos is one of her highlights. She understands the importance of your special day, and she's dedicated to crafting elegant and timeless updos that make you feel like a Queen on your wedding day! Jada is a newly graduated hairstylist and current apprentice who is passionate about starting her journey in the hair industry. Eager to learn, grow, and refine her craft, she brings fresh energy, a great eye for detail, and a genuine love for making people feel their best. As she builds her skills and confidence behind the chair, Jada is currently taking models for hair colour and is excited to welcome new faces into her chair.
Outside of the salon, Jada loves to spend time with her pets, and work on her beautiful truck!
